Pilot Buys Pizza for Delayed Passengers
No one likes having their flight delayed – even pilots. When a Frontier Airlines flight was diverted from it’s original destination of Denver, CO to Cheyenne and then stuck on the ground for at least 2 hours the pilot took action. There wasn’t any food left on board of the plane so he called the nearest pizza restaurant and ordered what ended up being around 40 pizzas – one for each row on the plane. Tyri Squyres (a spokesperson for Frontier Airlines) said she’s not surprised at all by what happened. “This is not unusual for our pilots to go above and beyond to care for our customers,” she said. “We have some great pilots who work here.”
